The South African rugby team arrived home, Tuesday, November 5, and were greeted with cheers at Johannesburg’s international airport by thousands of supporters.
Kolisi held up the Webb Ellis Cup, the winner’s trophy, as he walked through the airport.
Speaking at the news conference straight after his arrival from Japan, Kolisi said the team knew they were fighting for South Africa, acknowledging that “we go through a lot of challenges as a country”.
The South African rugby team won the Rugby World Cup, Saturday, defeating England 32-12, in Yokohama, Japan. (AP)
