The SafePlace project in KZN sets up run-to places of safety for women and children needing refuge from violence or abuse.
Our site managers are ready and waiting at our secure and safe units to accept anyone in need of a safe place to be. Our Social Workers are on call to connect clients to the necessary services, as well as to provide follow-up counselling and care.
We hope to help eradicate the epidemic of gender based violence and abuse, by using each of our sites for after school programs that focus on education, spiritual growth, and life skills that will empower our young men and women change the future of our country.
With your help, we can set up more SafePlaces, employ more social workers and youth mentors, and protect our communities while inspiring change in the next generation.
