According to the World Economic Forum 2016 Global Information Technology Report, South Africa ranked last in mathematics and science education quality. To help turn things around the South African Mathematics Foundation together with Nestlé South Africa has set up the NESTLÉ NESPRAY South African Mathematics Challenge. The challenge aims to empower scholars to become independent, creative and critical thinkers who will be able to interpret and critically analyse everyday situations in and out of the classroom.
